Last year, 40 Mountaineers volunteers pulled 1,400 lbs of trash out of Huntington Park. It was a blast & we're going back for more!
Join us and Spokane Riverkeeper on June 15th for an evening of real work at one of the city's best spots. We'll be clearing trash throughout the park, along the river, and into the technical zones around the Spokane Falls and Monroe Street Bridge that most volunteer crews can't reach — that's where our rope skills make the difference.
Date: Sunday, June 15 | 5:00–8:00 PM
Location: Huntington Park, Spokane
Bring: Gloves, harness/helmet (if you have them & want to use them), sunscreen/hat/sun protection. Suggested: long pants and grippy closed-toe shoes.
Provided: Garbage bags, pickers, water, and snacks
Please register so we can plan headcount. Can't make it right at 5? Come when you can.
