Wilderness First Aid

A Certification Course taught by Longleaf Wilderness Medicine

Wilderness First Aid Knowledge is one of the most important skill sets to have in the backcountry.

Wilderness First Aid teaches skills necessary when professional medical help is an indefinite time or distance away.

Environmental aspects of backcountry emergency situations will be covered in detail.

We partner with Longleaf Wilderness Medicine to teach this course over  two eight-hour days.  

The certification received upon completion of the course is good for two years.

Dates - October 25-26, 2025

Location - Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge

Cost - $206 for members, $256 for nonmembers (includes $6 fee for online registration on Long Leaf Website).
