Description
Location: Rimrock Parking Lot Time: Meet at 5:15 to get ready, hike at 5:30. Who: This hike is open to all, and geared towards children. We have toddlers to teenagers and move at a pace that works for everyone. Why: build grit and resilience, social and collaborative skills, love for the outdoors, and critical problem-solving. Expect: snack breaks, bug identification, field wanderings, tree climbing, dirt play, and whatever else engages the kids. We generally make it about 1.5-2 miles total. Bring: lots of water, a variety of snacks, sunscreen or layers, sturdy shoes, a first aid kit, patience, and be ready to laugh and make friends! Strollers and carriers are welcome. Will cancel for Thunderstorms or smoke above 100AQI. Rain, shine, cold- otherwise we'll be there!
