Wed Night Hike - High Drive Bluff Trails

The club's Wednesday Night Hike series are a great way to get to know us. Guests are welcome to come along, take a hike, meet some of our members, and learn more about our club's great opportunities.

This is hike # 4 in the Spokane Section of Rich Landers' "Urban Trails, Spokane and Coeur D'Alene" (pg. 51) with a slight variation. Instead of starting at Polly Judd Park (very limited parking), we will park at the trail head near 57th & Hatch on the South Hill. The hike will be on the Bluff (along and below High Drive). It will be an out and back with 6+ miles total and around 850+ feet of elevation change. We can play it by ear as to length depending on what the group desires. There will be mixed trails of sand, pine needles and rocky packed dirt with both forest and bluff views.
