Event Registration Wed Night Hike - Bald Knob to Vista House

The club's Wednesday Night Hike series are a great way to get to know us. Guests are welcome to come along, take a hike, meet some of our members, and learn more about our club's great opportunities.
Let's get high (in elevation, that is) for this typically hot part of summer. This Wed Night Hike is approx 5.7 miles RT with 787 verts of gain. It's an out-and-back starting at Bald Knob Picnic Area in Mt. Spokane State Park and ending at Vista House (elevation 5865). We'll stop at the Vista House for a short rest/snack break and then hike back down. Sunset is 8:48 so expect to keep a moderate steady pace of 2-2.5 MPH with short breaks. Bring a headlamp. Socialized leashed dogs welcome. The moondust on portions of this trail can burn paws in hot weather - bring booties. Pack out dog waste. Hiking kids welcome with parent. Bathrooms at trailhead and privy at Vista House.
