Social Committee

The social committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the Spokane Mountaineers Annual Banquet in the fall of each year. The committee also plans a New Member Picnic each year. The purpose of this event is for new members to have the opportunity to visit/ask questions with committee chairs or representatives of the various activities at the club. During the past two years, the committee has organized a winter volleyball team to play in a recreational league. It has been fairly popular with club members. The Social Committee is always looking for new committee members to help brainstorm new ideas and assist in the planning and coordination. We do not have monthly meetings, we meet when necessary to plan events and do a lot of our business via e-mail.
