Library

The club has more than 300 titles in its library available to members. May of the books are considered "mountaineering literature" - typically first-hand accounts of climbs and expeditions - but the collection also includes some guidebooks, instructional manuals, and journals and periodicals such as the American Alpine Journal, Accidents in North American Mountaineering, Summit Magazine (published from the late 1950's to mid-1960's and covers Pacific Northwest climbing) and the Kinnikinnick. Among the mountaineering literature titles in our library are works by Sir Edmund Hillary, Reinhold Messner, Sir Chris Bonington, Fred Beckey, Jon Krakauer and club Honorary Member John Roskelley.
